Car painting and bodywork in Tallinn – price known before the work
A car-park scratch, a dent, a rust spot or a full panel respray – without insurance, at your own expense, at an honest hourly rate. We inspect the car, calculate the hours and materials, and give you a fixed price before we touch anything.

What makes up the price
We do not sell a “package”, we sell labour hours and materials – so you see exactly what you are paying for. The price is paintwork hours × €65 + panel work hours × €55 + paint materials €100/m² + disassembly and reassembly €50/h where needed. A small car-park scratch on one panel is a couple of hours' work; respraying a whole wing with preparation is considerably more. That is exactly why we always inspect the car first and give a written quote with a fixed sum – there is nothing on the invoice we did not discuss.
Colour matching – why the repair is invisible
Two cars with the same paint code are never actually the same colour: sun, age and earlier repairs shift the shade. We do not mix paint from the factory code alone – we measure the existing paint with a spectrophotometer and blend the shade to your car. We then do a test spray on a panel and compare it in daylight. The blend is feathered into the neighbouring panel so no edge is visible, even in direct sunlight.

When polishing is enough and when painting is needed
The rule is simple: if you cannot feel the scratch with a fingernail, it is in the clear coat and polishing will remove it – many times cheaper than painting. If your nail catches in the scratch, or primer or bare metal is showing, polishing will not help and the panel needs painting. We will tell you honestly, even when it means a smaller invoice for us. See also car polishing.
Panel work, dents and rust
A dent can often be pulled out without painting if the clear coat is intact – this saves money and keeps the original paint, which matters when you sell. If the metal is torn or stretched, we straighten it as panel work at €55/h and only then paint. Rust has to be cut back to sound metal, otherwise it comes back through the new paint within two years – we do not paint over rust.
Insurance claim or paying yourself
This page is about work you pay for yourself. If it is an accident, car-park damage or hail damage covered by insurance, see insurance claims – there we handle all the paperwork with the insurer for you, and for casco claims you pay only the excess. Same workshop, same quality, just a different payer.
How it works
1) Send a photo on WhatsApp or come to Marja 9/2 – we inspect the car on site. 2) We calculate the hours and materials and send you a written quote with a fixed sum. 3) We take the car in at the agreed time; for a bigger job we agree a deadline. 4) Painting in the booth, curing, polishing and handover washed. 5) We give a warranty on the work. Within Tallinn we collect your car and bring it back (€25).
Car painting in Tallinn – frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to paint one panel?
It depends on the panel and the extent of the damage, because we charge by labour hours (paintwork €65/h, panel work €55/h) plus materials at €100/m². The inspection and quote are free – send a photo or come by and we will give you a fixed sum.
Will the colour be an exact match?
Yes. We measure the existing paint with a spectrophotometer and blend the shade to your car, not just from the factory code. Before painting we do a test spray and compare it in daylight.
How long does paintwork take?
One panel usually takes 2–3 working days including curing and polishing. Several panels or body damage take longer – we give the exact deadline with the quote.
Do I need an insurance claim?
No. We do bodywork and painting as a regular order, without any insurance. If the damage is an insurance case, see insurance claims.
Do you give a warranty on the work?
Yes, we give a warranty on paint and bodywork. We write it into the quote so you have it in black and white.
Can you repair just one scratch?
Yes, small local repairs are routine work. If the scratch is only in the clear coat, polishing is often enough and cheaper – we will tell you which applies in your case.
Do you collect the car?
Yes, within Tallinn for €25 return. For paintwork this is convenient, as the car stays with us for several days anyway.
